This example chart of a very simple SMART VSA setup caught a 375+ pip move on AUD/JPY.

SMART Trader VSA (Volume Spread Analysis) Software Update Is Live

The planned SMART Trader VSA (Volume Spread Analysis) Software Update Is Now Live:

The update includes the following changes/additions:

• Optimized the No Demand and Supply Test Modules
• Optimized the Shakeout Module
• Added Caution Signals for potential (prior to confirmation) No Demand and Supply Test signals
• Added No Selling Pressure Module
• Added VWAP Price Module
• Added a custom interval setting to the VS/R Module (default was daily before)
• Added two new advanced modules: Tree Hugging Fruitcake (Strong Short Signal) and Reverse Tree Hugging Fruitcake (Strong Long Signal)
• Added a setting (VolumeLookback) for the climax bars. Volume must be the highest volume in VolumeLookback periods to classified a climax bar.
• Added "Climactic Action" bars. Any bar that is ultra high vol and ultra spread is now painted
• The HVA/Z Module (High Volume Area Module) is not included in this update as it is still going through testing.
  

Added the following Audio Alert Sound Files:

• smart_unconfirmed_no_demand.wav

• smart_unconfirmed_no_selling_pressure.wav

You can download the updates from within the clients area. Please be sure to download both the installer and the sound installer as we have added new audio alerts for the new signals.

Very Quick AUD/JPY Analysis Using SMART Trader Volume Spread Analysis Software

This is a very quick analysis on AUD/JPY H1 Using SMART by request. This pair can be excellent for longer term swap and has some very nice moves as well. I pulled in 250 pips over night taking very quick simple SMART/VSA based trades. I called some of the moves when I was in the Live Volume Spread Analysis Chat Room (Free)

We are in the middle of rolling out the Audio Alerts Update so I don't have the time at the moment to properly annotate the chart as I normally would but you get the basic idea.

One of the great strengths of the SMART Trader (Volume Spread Analysis) Software is that it gives you the ability to recognize multi bar patterns you may not have otherwise seen such as the Mount Fuji Fakeout, The Spinning Rowboat, and the newest dubbed the Treehugging Fruitcake.

Here is a quick chart showing a SMART Green Bar (Effort To Rise) on Excessive Volume (Weakness) Into a SMART Pink Bar (Effort To Fall) on high but not excessive volume (Weakness).

I will test this further and see if it's worthy of it's own alert.



Sound alerts are done and the update should roll out tomorrow. The Spinning Rowboat Advanced Module is testing and may also make it in tomorrow's update. A s you may be aware you are alerted of new updates via your chart but I will also post a message here and in the chat.

USD CHF 30 Minute Chart As Seen By SMART Trader Volume Spread Analysis System

This is a quick analysis for the USD/CHF 30 minute chart using SMART Trader.

1. SMART Red Bar (Upthrust) Weakness.

2.SMART Pink Bar (Effort To Fall) Background showed weakness but a number of SMART Blue Bars (Psuedo Reverse Upthrust appear) Caution

3.Dead Zone (Module coming soon) (Caution. Period of below average Volume) There were some nice signals but a no trade area for me.

4. SMART Green Bar (Effort To Rise) Weakness

5. SMART Pink Bar (Effort To Fall) Green/Pink Two Bar Pattern (Treehugging Fruitcake) Strength.

6. Signs of Strength - SMART Blue Bar (Reverse Upthrust) and a Blue Square Icon (Strength) on SMART Advanced Strength or Weakness Module

7. Advanced Spinning Rowboat Icon Only Test (Down Bars Only test and Smile Icon is for testing only) Followed by Lite Red Square on on SMART Advanced Strength or Weakness Module (Weakness)

8. Blue Square Icon (Strength) on SMART Advanced Strength or Weakness Module

9. SMART Pink Bar (No Demand) Weakness

10. SMART Orange Bar (Supply Coming In) and an additional bonus of both a light pink square and a red square from the SMART Advanced Strength or Weakness Module. (Screaming Short) I missed this one.
